What a wonderful children's book!!! I can't think of a better, more age-appropriate way of introducing metaphysics to the already magickal mind of a child. I bought several of these books as Christmas books and am pairing them with a set of colorful runes for hours of insight and enjoyment. I eagerly look forward to the continuing adventures of Poppy. I bought this book for my grandchildren and have been reading it to them. I don't know who likes it more, me or them. This book introduces meditation in a way that young children get excited about. I've tried teaching them to "quiet their mind" and they think that's BORING. But when they learned that Poppy has adventures in her mind while meditating, they now see this as a fun thing to do, even though they are just sitting quietly. I will be buying more copies for the children in my life.
